my name is Andy aka „akrapf“ and I create all the denada-designs printed on apparel, posters etc and also build the art toys.
After my design degree I started my career as a freelance illustrator and was able to gain initial experiences in designing t-shirts. At the same time I started submitting designs to ongoing t-shirt contests like Threadless or LaFraise. After some of these got printed for Threadless and LaFraise I got hooked on designing t-shirts and founded denada, together with my fellow student and buddy Marco at the end of our study 2009.
In 2010 Marco moved to Munich for job reasons, I moved to Hamburg and so our ways parted.
By the end of 2010 I set up a sweet little denada store near to the famous Reeperbahn in Hamburg, Germany.
By the way, the name denada is spanish ("de nada") and means "you're welcome!". I chose this name just because it sounds awesome. ;)
Under the flag of denada I can live out my creativity and share my weird phantasies with others. A bit of humour does not hurt anyone and so i hope you're gonna enjoy denada as much as I do.

Andreas Krapf
